PRODUCT STORY
Black Steel, Bold Grain
We built Ink around one of the simplest combinations in the Passage line: black steel and Zebrawood.
The dark case and dial keep the watch clean, while the wood adds enough warmth and pattern to stop it from looking like another all-black watch.
We let the grain do most of the work. No extra decoration, no complicated dial — just real wood, black steel and a layout that is easy to wear.
MOVEMENT / DESIGN
Smooth, Simple Quartz
Ink uses a sweep-style quartz movement that moves the center seconds hand four times per second, giving it a smoother look than the usual once-per-second quartz tick.
The small subdial shows the time on a 24-hour scale, while the rest of the dial stays simple and easy to read.

MATERIALS

ZEBRAWOOD
Zebrawood brings warm golden-brown color and darker natural streaks to the bezel and bracelet inserts. The pattern is strong enough that we do not need to add much else.
BLACK STAINLESS STEEL
Black stainless steel gives the 44mm case and bracelet their structure and creates a clean background for the lighter wood.
SAPPHIRE-COATED MINERAL GLASS
The crystal adds practical protection while keeping the black dial and 24-hour display clear.

The Character of Zebrawood
THE STRIPES ARE THE POINT
Zebrawood is known for dark streaks running through a warmer golden-brown base. Some cuts are strongly striped, while others come out softer and more irregular.
WE DO NOT TRY TO MAKE THEM MATCH
The grain changes naturally from one section of wood to another. That means the bezel and bracelet inserts will never look perfectly identical from watch to watch.
WHY WE USE IT WITH BLACK
Zebrawood already has plenty going on. Black steel gives the grain a simple background and lets the wood stand out without making the watch feel busy.
