PRODUCT STORY

Black Steel, Warm Oak

We wanted Dusk to feel like a black watch you could wear often, not something that looked too formal or too tactical.

Reclaimed whiskey barrel oak was the answer. We used it across the bezel and bracelet inserts to break up the black steel and bring some natural warmth into the design.

The black sunray dial keeps the face clean, while the wood gives every watch small differences in grain and tone.

It is simple, easy to wear, and just different enough from a standard black steel watch.

MOVEMENT / DESIGN

Smooth, Simple Quartz

Dusk uses a sweep-style quartz movement that moves the center seconds hand four times per second, creating a smoother motion than the usual once-per-second quartz tick.

The small subdial shows the time on a 24-hour scale, while the rest of the layout stays clean and easy to read.

It is a straightforward movement chosen for one reason: it does its job without asking for much attention.

RECLAIMED WHISKEY BARREL OAK

The oak brings warm golden-brown grain to the bezel and bracelet inserts. Because it is real wood, color and grain will vary slightly from one watch to another.

BLACK STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless steel gives the 44mm case and bracelet their structure. The black finish keeps the watch understated and gives the lighter oak more room to show.

SAPPHIRE-COATED MINERAL GLASS

The crystal adds everyday protection while keeping the black sunray dial clear.

The Character of Reclaimed Whiskey Barrel Oak

IT ALREADY HAD A LIFE BEFORE THIS WATCH

The oak used in Dusk comes from reclaimed whiskey barrels rather than new, uniform timber. That gives us wood with natural color, open grain and small marks that do not repeat perfectly.

EVERY PIECE COMES OUT A LITTLE DIFFERENT

Some sections are lighter. Some show darker lines or stronger grain. We do not try to make every piece look identical — that variation is part of using real wood.

WHY WE PAIRED IT WITH BLACK

Black steel can feel cold on its own. The oak changes that. A few sections of warm wood are enough to make the whole watch feel more relaxed and easier to wear.
