COLOR & APPEARANCE
The heartwood of Olive wood is commonly a cream or yellowish brown, with darker brown or black contrasting streaks. Color will deepen with age, with tones of grey and bronze. Olive is sometimes figured with curly or wavy grain.
Grain may be straight , interlocked, or wild. There is a fine uniform texture with moderate natural luster.
This wood species is not listed in the CITIES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
